TLC attends InnoTrans 2014 Exhibition in Berlin

TLC partnered with Rail Safety Technology BV this year to man their stand at the InnoTrans 2014 Exhibition in Berlin, Germany. BRUNELCO ENGINEERING BV have developed a Metal Stress Measurer (MSM), providing the rail industry with an excellent tool for measuring stress levels in CWR-track. The partnership comes after the recognition of the complimentary nature this product has with TLC’s WILMA system.

For sales and consultancy Brunelco has partnered with TLC in South Africa.

TLC at AfricaRail 2014

TLC speaks at Electrical Substations Conference

TLC director, Terry Cousins, was a keynote speaker at this years Electrical Substations Conference, hosted by IDC Technologies in Midrand (22 - 24th November 2011). The aim of the conference was to exchange know-how and learn about the latest developments in electrical substations focusing on power system protection, automation and communication. The conference had a number of superb casestudies and breaking developments which will help set a bench mark for best practise in building electrical Substations in South Africa.

TLC to Attend EFEE

TLC ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS will be attending the European Federation of Explosives Engineers (EFEE) conference and exhibition. It is to be held in Lisbon, Portugal in September 2011. TLC has secured a stand at the exhibition and director, Luis Valentim, together with AEL Mining Services' Dr Ewan Sellers will be presenting a technical paper at the conference.

TLC Exhibits at Modern Railways Shanghai 2009

TLC ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS participated in this year’s Modern Railways Exhibition in Shanghai, China, held on the 22nd – 24th June 2009. This truly international event represented more than 20 countries and regions around the world and ran in conjunction with the International Heavy Haul Association (IHHA) conference, also held in Shanghai. The IHHA runs a conference every four years and incorporates a program that includes the full spectrum of heavy haul subjects.

TLC, represented by director Luis Valentim, ran a booth promoting the WIMWM system (Weigh in motion Wheel Impact Monitor) and the WILMA system (Weighside Intelligent Longstress Management). Both of these world class products attracted interest at the exhibition.

Remote Clinics Receive Instant Results

Patient healthcare is directly improved by the speedy and accurate reporting of laboratory results. With the development of the TLC GSM SMS PRINTER, remote laboratories are now able to receive their results instantaneously.

A recent case in Kenya saw a backlog of 3-4 months worth of results being printed immediately once the units were installed. The staff at these clinics were so happy to see such an instantaneous impact.

TLC ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS participated again in this year’s Conference on Explosives & Blasting Technique in Denver, Colorado USA from 8th – 11th Feb 2009. The company, represented by Luis Valentim, shared the booth with its sole American distributor, Vibronics Inc., to promote its Winprof, SpeedVOD and range of PDA applications for mine surveys.
